About Hakuryuen
Hakuryuen is a garden whose appearance changes throughout the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), allowing you to enjoy the splendor of each season.
As the garden is privately owned, only a limited number of people are allowed to walk around or take photos.As you can see, the gardener not only takes care of the garden every day, but also manages the “moss” that you can’t find anywhere else. Kyoto’s many shrines and temples are no less impressive, but they are even more spectacular than the gardens designated as World Cultural Heritage Sites.
